For some people, the Holy Grail of e-learning is a fully personalised virtual learning environment. Whilst we're waiting for this to become ubiquitous there are a couple of interesting examples you should visit. Stephen Downes' OLDaily is singing the praises of Memigo. Memigo recommends news articles you will be interested in based on your ratings and those of other users that are similar to you.
