Delicious has appetite for bookmarks

Delicious is a new Web site which describes itself as

'… a social bookmarks manager. Using simple bookmarklets, you can add bookmarks to your list and categorize them.'

Because it's an alpha stage project at the moment I'm not recommending this as a solution for use in anger. Nevertheless, it implements some useful concepts. After registration a simple addition to a browser's link bar enables any url, keywords and annotations to be added to a user's personal space at Delicious. Theoretically, therefore, your personal bookmarks should be available to you from any Web browser on any PC anywhere in the World. There are similar solutions available but Delicious has several unique features. First, your bookmarks are associated with bookmarks and comments entered by other users with similar interests, thus providing different 'views'. Second, RSS feeds provide a summary for each view thus making syndication and reading by RSS aggregators and readers easy.
